Off we went to Fairford the other weekend for a nice sunday of rain and grey skies. Some good flying happened though and I got some nice pics, some of which you can see here

A few weeks (months?) ago we spent a weekend in the Malvern Hills, after climbing to the top, and coming back down from British Camp we found this nice shady place to rest for a bit.

I love all the grass being thrown up by the down wash from the rotors in this.

Pretty little light aircraft landing at Bembridge, its a Aerotechnik EV-97A Eurostar according to this.

Took the savvy down to the beach in Ryde, lots of fun, but also lots of cleaning afterwards 🙁

We took advantage of the nice weather on Sunday to tryout one of the walks in our book, this was a circular walk from Yarmouth out via Freshwater and back via Golden Hill Fort and Fort Victoria. Also gave me a chance to make a google map of the route 🙂

On holiday! Took this with my camera phone while enjoying a beer and waiting for the fireworks to start which marked the end of the Ryde Regatta.

Flipped the savvy and bent a chunk of the carb.Sigh.
